On June 03, 1973, she married actor Amitabh Bachchan. The couple has two children: Shweta Bachchan-Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan.
Amitabh Bachchan daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda was born on March 17, 1974 in Mumbai to the renowned Bollywood couple Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.
Later Shweta married Escorts Group businessman Nikhil Nanda on February 16, 1997, who is the son of Hindi film actor-producer Raj Kapoor’s daughter Ritu Nanda, and son of Rajan Nanda.
The couple has two children, daughter Navya Naveli Nanda (born December 1997), and son Agastya Nanda (born November 23, 2000).
Amitabh Bachchan Daughter lives with her husband in Delhi. Interestingly, husband Nikhil’s birthday falls a day after Shweta’s, which is March 18.
Agastya is a carbon copy of his father Nikhil Nanda, while Navya looks like her mother.

Achievement
Later in 2018, Amitabh Bachchan Daughter launched her clothing line – MxS, which is a collaboration between Shweta Nanda Bachchan and ace-designer Monisha Jaisingh.
In 2018, Shweta Bachchan Nanda also made her screen debut alongside her megastar father Amitabh Bachchan in an advertisement for a jewellery brand.
However, the ad was later withdrawn after legal action was threatened against the brand for portraying bank employees in a negative light.
Amitabh Bachchan Daughter made her debut as a novelist by launching her first novel ‘Paradise Towers’. It is a heart-warming slice-of-life novel set in an apartment building in Mumbai.
Her grandfather Harivanshrai Bachchan introduced Shweta to writing and reading, a poet and a writer.
